Florida’s favorite tribute to Jimmy Buffett returns to the stage at Sims Park. Parrot Heads are invited to soak in the sights, sounds, and laid-back spirit of a live Jimmy Buffett experience.

There will be margarita mocktails, a best dressed costume contest and a giant inflatable parrot might make an appearance for a photo op benefiting a local bird sanctuary.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – March 17, 2026 – On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the historic Richey Suncoast Theatre will host a legendary musical odyssey as it proudly presents FAME: The Ultimate BOWIE Tribute. This one-night-only symphonic journey celebrates the chameleonic legacy of David Bowie, from the ethereal echoes of “Space Oddity” to the high-energy anthems of the 80s.

Featuring the uncanny vocals and stage presence of Thomas Clay as “Bowie,” the production meticulously recreates the most iconic eras of the Starman’s career. Audiences can expect a high-fidelity trek through the early 70s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars era, the soulful sophistication of the Thin White Duke, and the global pop phenomenon of the 80s, featuring hits like “Modern Love” and “Let’s Dance”.

The performance features a powerhouse band of seasoned professionals:

Thomas Clay (Lead Vocals): A frontman whose journey began at age 3 and whose career spans Broadway and film.

David G. Maki (Saxophone/Vocals): A seasoned musician who brings the essential brass energy to Bowie’s catalog.

Students from Mullins Music’s Rock Week Summer Camp will take the stage at Sims Park for a special performance. The concert will feature several student bands that are formed during Rock Week—an annual tradition at Mullins Music since 2007.

Every performer will showcase the skills and talents they’ve honed in just one week, centered around a theme that is kept a secret from attendees until the first day of camp. Past themes have included British Invasion, the 1980s, Superheroes, and more.
