Run Toward Justice 5K

Saint Leo University’s Social Justice Committee is hosting its first Run Toward Justice 5K.

The virtual 5K race day is Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 17, 2022). Participants may run the 5K any day between January 1, and January 21, 2022. Participants may run, walk, or use any mobility assistance device to complete 3.1 miles. Early-bird registration runs through October 31. Proceeds from the 5K will go to the Migrant Education Program, which provides services to migrant students and their families through Hillsborough County Public Schools. Saint Leo University’s Social Justice Committee hopes to end the cycle of poverty by providing school supplies and necessary items to these students so that they may successfully complete their education.
