Lectures on the Lawn at Starkey Ranch District Park

A series of cultural events under the stars. Join Bob Stone on Friday April 26th  presenting ” Florida Cattle Ranching: five Centuries of Tradition”. He will take you on a multimedia journey through five centuries of cattle ranching from the time of Juan Ponce de Leon to the 21st century.

This event will also feature:

• Live music by Firefighter & Musician Andy Bryant
• A screening of the documentary “Cowboys and Scientists”
• Nina’s Cucina wood fired pizza will be onsite selling Italian cuisine
• Guest Speaker Laura Bennett, UF/IFAS Milti-County Livestock Extension Agent

Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks
