Battle Reenactment: 2:00 PM
Experience an immersive journey into Civil War history with weapons and tactics demonstrations, period camps, living history presentations, blacksmith and carpentry demos, and more! Enjoy craft vendors, sutlers, delicious food, and additional activities throughout the day.
Admission:

- Children under 5: Free

Civil War Living History Field Trip Day
Date: Friday, November 15, 2024
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This educational field trip day is designed for public, private, and home school students and their chaperones. Explore a series of living history stations showcasing various aspects of the Civil War and 1860s life. Note: No battle reenactments will occur on this day.
Admission: $8 for students and chaperones. Parking is free.
Concessions available (cash only) for food, drinks, snacks, and desserts.
Stations May Include:
- Re-enactors in period dress/uniforms
- Encampments (Federal and Confederate)
- Live music with period songs
- Medical hospital units
- Cavalry units
- Food preparation and daily activities
- Narrations by re-enactor soldiers
- Explanations of cannons and side arms
- Blacksmith and woodwright demonstrations
- Museum tours, including the 1860s Overstreet House
- Flags of Florida station/speaker
