Soort evenement: Muziek en concerten

Leerlingen van het Rock Week Summer Camp van Mullins Music zullen een speciaal optreden geven in Sims Park. Tijdens het concert zullen verschillende leerlingenbands optreden die tijdens Rock Week zijn gevormd – een jaarlijkse traditie bij Mullins Music sinds 2007.

Elke artiest zal de vaardigheden en talenten laten zien die ze in slechts één week hebben ontwikkeld, rondom een thema dat tot de eerste dag van het kamp geheim wordt gehouden voor de deelnemers. Eerdere thema's waren onder andere de Britse invasie, de jaren 80, superhelden en meer.

Naast het repeteren en memoriseren van muziek die bij het thema past, moet elke band een unieke bandnaam en -identiteit bedenken en een origineel nummer componeren in de week voorafgaand aan het concert. Ga voor meer informatie over Mullins Music naar www.mullinsmusic.org.

De toegang is gratis en gasten worden aangemoedigd om dekens en tuinstoelen mee te nemen om op te zitten.

Voor en tijdens de shows zijn er foodtrucks, frisdranken, en bier en wijn verkrijgbaar voor bezoekers van 21 jaar en ouder.
