CONDADO DE PASCO, FL  —-  Are you organizing a special, non-sporting event—such as an art show or music festival—in Pasco County and need financial assistance? Florida’s Sports Coast is here to help!

The FY 2026 Marketing Matching Sponsorship Program (MMSP) offers financial support to enhance the marketing reach of your non-sporting event. Designed to highlight artistic, cultural, and distinctive events beyond sports, MMSP can provide up to $5,000 to promote your event outside of Pasco County.

For FY 2026, two additional funding incentives are available to help attract more visitors:

Additional Funding Incentives

• Long-Distance Promotions Incentive – Up to $2,000 for advertising, marketing, and promotions targeting areas 100+ miles away from Pasco County.
• Room Night Generation Incentive – Up to $3,000 (paid at $10 per verified room night) to encourage overnight stays in Pasco County hotels.

• Application Deadline: July 16, 2025
• To be eligible for funding, applicants must attend a mandatory one-on-one session before July 2, 2025.

Program Requirements:

• Event Dates: Must occur between October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026.

• Marketing Expenditure Requirement: To receive full funding, applicants must demonstrate a total advertising investment of $10,000, which includes:
  • $5,000 in paid promotions outside of Pasco County.
  • $5,000 in matching funds (paid or in-kind, in or outside Pasco County).

Eligibility for Additional Incentives:

• Long-Distance Promotions Incentive requires applicants to exhaust the initial $5,000 in out-of-Pasco promotions.

• Room Night Generation Incentive requires tracking verified hotel stays within Pasco County.
